Welcome to Living Fields' Khmer Folk Dance School!
From 1975-1979, Khmer culture was almost obliterated by the Khmer Rouge, who killed 2 million Cambodians. The educated and the artists were especially targeted.
Living Fields' Khmer Folk Dance School (known as "Robam Redeemed") seeks to preserve Khmer cultural folk dance for 2nd generation Cambodians and non-Cambodians. We have taught traditional Khmer dance at the Living Fields Dance School for the past 9 years and have performed at various venues and events, including the Massachusetts State House last year, Lynn City Hall and the University of New Hampshire.
